Happy Chinese New Year to everyone. :D It was a tiring day at school on the first day of the semester! I hope to cope well with this year's timetable and be more hardworking, say this everytime without fail. Mistakes were done previously so let's not repeat BUT learn from them.

On Saturday night, we went out to have Chinese buffet dinner. It was my first time eating real seafood, mussels and prawns! So I took a whole load and kinda stuffed myself with too much fried food (regret max!) until I was so full! :(
There was beef, ribs and salmon too. :P My favourite fried food that night was the breaded mushroom. Hope to learn this recipe and make them myself! ;)
In the end, I gave up stuffing myself with the dessert section. Felt like there was something in me that couldn't budge no matter how much water I drink, pretty uncomfortable, so lesson learnt, not to keep picking on fried food to try even if it's just ONE piece. :(
My "sis" and I, her new nickname whom she's also fond of, hahah. If you could remember (probably you can't), I have dedicated a post to my Adidas jacket, which she also bought together with me.
That's not the end of my CNY celebration feast!

On Sunday night, it was another round of pot luck. I kinda think it's my fault that there wasn't any vegetables My friend spoke in Mandarin over the phone to me, mentioning that they were preparing "chicken, fish and PIE". I misheard PIE as 菜(cai), which is vegie. +____+
So that night was all meat, meat and more meat!
I fell in love with the sauce for dipping the fried wanton (dumpling)! Love it so much that it reminds me of the sauce I have for dimsum near my house. :((
My favourite that night was the "Bak Kut Teh" and the sauce for the wanton. :P heheh. TOO BAD the honeydew sago wasn't enough, I would've went for a second helping if they prepared one big pot of it. ;'( All the dishes were good, and obviously everyone enjoyed it a lot. So yeah, good job everyone!

... and finally, 23rd January, the day of Chinese New Year itself. I'm starting to think I will not have enough time for blogging in the future but I will still try my best to update! :)
Wore red to school today, and cooked herbal chicken soup flavour instant noodles. Scrolling down the updates in Facebook makes me sad.. +_+ Usually back home, on the first day of CNY, I have "mee sua" and herbal duck soup. Well, what more can I say than to love what I have for now ... u__u
Mango pudding after dinner and prawn crackers tonight. My simplified version of CNY snacks, still better than nothing right. :(
Kk, That's all for today! ;)
