It has been such a long time since I've watched life-action manga adaptation movies, last one was Nana. I will and solely believe that nothing beats original manga, sometimes the anime doesn't live up to my expectations, so I always doubt how good can the real-life movies be? Well, they are all NOT BAD only if their producers are Japanese, and real actors that are carefully chosen based on the characters. :)

Time for geek talk. XD It's not to late for you to click the [x] now if you are not into these stuff. :P

I've eyed on this movie "BECK" for quite awhile because I fell in love with the song "Moon On The Water" during high school. I'll be honest, I'm too lazy to read the manga or watch the anime because I wasn't attracted to the drawing style, so yeah, I finally choose to watch the movie. :D

From [tokyograph.com]
“Beck,” the popular music manga by Harold Sakuishi, is being adapted as a live-action film. Director Yukihiko Tsutsumi (“20th Century Boys”) will be in charge of the project, with actor Hiro Mizushima in the leading role.
The manga, which was originally serialized from 2000 to 2008, tells the story of five young men who form a rock band called Beck. The protagonist in the manga was the guitarist/vocalist Yukio “Koyuki” Tanaka, but the film will instead revolve around the band’s main guitarist and leader, Ryusuke Minami.
30 original songs are being written, which will be performed by the actors themselves with real instruments. Mizushima and the others are currently undergoing special training for about a month. The movie’s climax is said to be a large-scale concert scene with the band playing on stage."

Best part of the movie is when they mute the sound of Koyuki singing and the music plays on. I can totally imagine serenity even without Koyuki's voice.

Eye candies?! *____* My favourite is Aoi Nakamura. ^^ I really like cuteeee guys who always pull that *.*? innocent look omg, totally melts my heart. :P Best part

Finally, DEATH NOTE!! Like what century do you live in girl, super old stuff, I asked myself. -.-"" Waiittt I have some explanation to do, lol.

I've sworn to watch this RIGHT after I finish the manga. :P Well I did finish the manga last year, phew it was mind blowing and probably on the top list of my favourite mangas. Second movie disappointed me because I was actually expecting "Near" to be the last one to complete the chess pieces just like how it did originally. [sorry to be such a spoiler lolol but I guess it doesn't affect anything since this is super old news.]

But I guess long story cut short, movie took another turn which wasn't so long-winded without Mello and Matt. However in the third movie, we've get to see more of Near. :)

Out of boredom, I ended up watching all three movies. :X Main focus was Kenichi Matsuyama's acting, omg, such a perfect portrayal of "L". Every single action was so into character. T__T Now I know why V Vien loves him soooo much, hehehe.

Alright, WAKE UP and back to reality, soooo.... goodbyeee! ^o^

PS: Hopefully hubby won't get jealous of my fangirl-ing mode, which isn't that extreme actually. :P
